Introduction

In my search for an idea to draw, I found this: 100themechallenge.deviantart.c… I'm not sure if I will do all of them, or any more at all, but as long as I have no other ideas I will probably return to it.

I rather like how this one turned out, although it doesn't look as good against the brightness of DA's color scheme; they really need to darken that shit so you can actually see the art.

But anyway I started painting this in my old style and my gut told me to stop, I just wasn't liking it. That style does little to nothing for me anymore. I painted the background first and it turned out really pretty though, so I might finish that up and post it as a painting by itself. As for these two people, I think after he gets done introducing himself she should make an excuse to get away, because I imagine he's bad news. If she dates him, at best he'll end up cheating on her with a fourteen year old boy, at worst, she'll end up discarded/concealed in a series of 55-gallon drums. But you know, that's me, these are the sordid little details I like to make up about the characters I create. It's far more fun to make up awful things about characters than nice ones.
