This is just something I came up with as I was messing around in Photoshop, and I thought I'd put it up just in case anyone else could get some use out of it. I know there are dozens upon dozens of these on DA already, but
I haven't done one yet, so it's a new thing for me.
I painted a quick (sloppy) face for each skin tone, because I thought it might be helpful to see each one in use. You don't have to use these colors exactly the way I have of course, I just did it as sort of a guide.
I know they look a little creepy, sort of like death masks, but they serve their purpose I guess. lol They each have the reds off to the right lightly brushed over their cheeks, nose and lips, so you can see what that looks like. The only thing I didn't use on them was the really light highlights in the right corner- those colors are to be used
very sparingly with a textured brush only on the areas that catch the most light (nose, cheekbones, etc.) as a finishing detail.
I didn't make these into a color swatch file because I couldn't be bothered; I'll let you do that yourselves.
