Here we go, another faery again, I don't know if this is going to be a regular thing or not- I'm enjoying it far too much to stop, now. I made this one to sort of match the purple one, so maybe they're sisters? 
All I know is that is was lots of fun, so I am going to continue. Son, I am please.
I know luna moths aren't really this color exactly, but I thought it looked better this way. Purple will always be my first love, but I love me some blue, too~
And since for some reason I'm growing fond of picking songs to go with my paintings, here is a song to go with this: Luna Magistra by Enam

Vision
Originality Technique ImpactI really like the strength of the color in this painting. The blue that permeates the image is striking and draws the viewer in. The change in value from very saturated midtone to a very light unsaturated blue gives the piece depth because it draws the viewer back into the scenery behind the figure. I also love what you have done with the costume. It is beautifully rendered. My only suggestion might be to add a bit if texture, since as it is, it looks just a bit plasticky. Otherwise, I might suggest deepening the shadows on the face and hair slightly, perhaps with another hue, so that they appear more natural. This is beautiful work, though. The figure is well painted and is in a beautiful pose. Great work! Gotta love fairies!
